OG Inspector does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The extension operates entirely within your browser and never transmits information to external servers.
Data Usage
The only data stored is limited to local settings such as your chosen highlight color or whether the extension is enabled or disabled.
These settings are saved using Chrome’s storage API and remain on your device only.
Permissions
Uses the active tab only, to read Open Graph metadata from the page you are currently viewing and generate a visual preview.
Uses the downloads permission only to save the generated Open Graph preview image to your device when you click “Download preview PNG.”
Uses host permissions to access page metadata on the currently active tab so it can read Open Graph and Twitter Card tags and render the preview.
Data Sharing No data is transmitted, shared, or sold to any third parties.
